<My cancer-fighting diary>
It is unbelievable! A seemingly normal fever turned out to be the beginning of malignant lymphoma.
I am 42 years old, and a mother of 3. Last year, I developed a mild fever and two weeks later, tests showed that I had cancer cells in my bone marrow and I was diagnosed with diffused b-cell lymphoma.
The treatments were going well for a few weeks, but I started to develop high fevers again. After more tests, my doctor confirmed that I relapsed. This time, the cancer cells had spread to my liver! This relapse came so fast and violent, it is so frustrating and overwhelming. If my next treatments aren't successful, I will need an unrelated bone marrow transplant.
