New Year's Resolutions: How to be a better human in 2021

january 5, 2021

Beatrice Sotrea & Savannah Gorenko-Lévêque

Resolution 1

Thank the people who were there for us in 2020

Let’s be honest. 2020 was a hell of a roller coaster, but the people around us certainly made the ride much smoother.

Resolution 2

Take the initiative to learn about a subject that matters to you by reading or attending conferences – be curious!

For instance, you can learn more about stem cell donation by simply visiting our website (swabtheworld.com)!

Resolution 3

Try out a new activity

Have you been scrolling through social media aimlessly for hours on end because you’re bored? Why not try figuring out how you can help out your community? You could collaborate with Swab The World and co-host a virtual Swab Talk to encourage people in your community to become stem cell donors and save lives.

Resolution 4

Take care of yourself

Make sure to take care of yourself and try your best to stay healthy! A quick 20-minute workout is all you need to get your heart racing and that sweaty glow going! And who knows? Being in good health might come in useful when you get the call to donate stem cells...

Resolution 5

Register to become a stem cell donor

Who says only doctors can save lives? Not us! Join your regional stem cell registry and make a difference by saving the life of someone with blood cancer. You got this!
