Raphaël is 19 years old and of Vietnamese origin.
In his everyday life, he enjoys playing sports, especially climbing and calisthenics. He is passionate about cooking, origami, LEGO, 3D modeling, and many other things...

It was during his first diagnosis of leukemia in 2017, at the age of 11, that Raphaël discovered computer science—and more specifically, programming. After graduating from high school in Toulouse, in the south of France, he was accepted into a computer engineering school. Unfortunately, his studies had to be put on hold due to a relapse of his acute leukemia.

Since first falling ill in 2017, he has relapsed in 2020, 2023, and again in 2025—making this his third relapse.

He is curious about many things and wishes for his life to continue so he can discover even more! Supported by his mother, father, and all his loved ones, he remains positive and believes in the future.

In 2024, he received a cord blood transplant, which unfortunately was not successful.

Treatment options are running out. Only a hematopoietic stem cell transplant could save him.
